The Basic Chocolate Cake


I used this recipe to make two cake layers. Put them on top of each other by placing a layer of my preferable filling. Whether it's raspberry, blueberry, strawberry or just melted chocolate. The same thing for the topping decoration. I made this same cake recipe many times with different filling / decoration each time. 



You will need: 

100 g Butter
2½ dl granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 dl flour
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla

Method 

Preheat the oven to 175 °. Melt the butter in a pot. Lift off the pan from the heat. 
Stir in sugar and eggs, mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients so that everything is well mixed. 
Pour batter into a greased and floured form with removable rim, about 24 cm in diameter. 
Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.

 The cake will be low with fairly hard surface and a bit sticky in the middle. Allow the cake to cool.
