Simple Definition of continental breakfast is a light breakfast that usually includes baked goods, jam, fruit, and coffee.. A great way to start a busy morning when you have no time to cook a heavy breakfast. I usually leave the heavy breakfast thing for the weekends.. specially when I know I have all the time to take it easy and get creative in the kitchen... than I can eat slow, chill and enjoy the taste.
I hope you guys enjoy today and get your things done, what ever you guys are up to :-) cheers and have a wonderful weekend!
Hello again, back with more styling topics, sharing my ideas and learned tips. But this time its a memory from when we first moved to our new home.
When we first moved in it took me a while to set my mind on how I want our bedroom to look like. I usually like white bedrooms.. and I like the type of basic interior that you can change anytime by adding / removing interior accessories. This way you can makeover your space per season very easy.. and it will fit to both types of modern or classic styles..depends on whats popular.
So I picked white and grey / silver as the basic colors.. and they suited our wooden white walls and a grey wall we have in the back of the bed. In summertime I style the bedroom like the old english style summerhouses.. blue and white. And in the winter I switch to winter cabin style by having brown and beige accessories, specially that our headboard is made of natural wood (organic style).
Styling the dressing and the bedside tables is my favorite thing. I change the style every now and then adding new followers, vases.. accessories etc.. here are some photos from summer time last year. I have already made a lot of changes to this corner which you will be seeing in the following styling posts..

Beauty, Our Home, Products review
When it comes to beauty I prefer buying beauty products that repair and maintain skin youth rather spending lots of money on make up products that only hide the damages and makes one look pretty temporary.
Here is one of my favorite beauty essential products that i highly recommend. A moisture cream that is both effective and has a reasonable price. Its light and genetle on the skin because I dont like heavy moisture creams that are sicky and heavy. I tired couple of them and this was the best suitable one for me. The best thing about it also is that it works for all types of skin.
Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex
Seeing is Believing. The classic Elizabeth Arden moisturizing formula. Rich, emollient, protective, it cushions skin with moisture and provides an occlusive barrier to prevent moisture loss.

These photos were supposed to be shared last summer for one of my street style articles. But unfortunately I was very busy and I didn't have time to edit and publish them.
Now that I lack this type of posts due to my maternity status.. its a perfect time to share with you one of my favorite personal "casual" outfits. As usual I prefer going for basics and comfortable clothes. This outfit is very practical and as for our not very warm summer weather in Sweden it makes a perfect fit.
I hope you enjoy the inspiration and soon I will be back with new style topics from this years personal style.
I would like to share with you one my favorite breakfast recipes. I love continental breakfast, and I sometimes switch between croissant and bread , omelet, cereal or pancakes.. but a hot grilled cheese toast is always the best!
This is one of my weekend breakfasts where I enjoyed grilled toast, some fresh fruits, orange juice and black coffee..
Oven Grilled Cheese Toast
- 8 slices of toast bread
- 3-4 tablespoons of softened butter
- 8 slices of cheese ( or more if you like it really cheesey)
- Butter one side of a piece of bread and place buttered side down on a cookie sheet.
- Place a slice of cheese on top of the bread.
- Butter one side of another piece of bread and place butter side up, on top of the slice of cheese.
- Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
- Bake at 425 for 6-8 minutes. Flip over and bake for 3-4 more minutes. The cooking time may vary depending on how toasted you like the bread on your grilled cheese sandwiches. The first time you do this, you might check on it a few times to be sure it does not get more crisp than you like them to be.
- Serve and enjoy!
Spring season is on doors.. have you made up your mind if you want to apply some changes to your home decor?
Well.. last spring I added the green leafs throw pillow to our living room sofa to add the touch of spring to our space. The banana leaf and jungle pattern was on the trend and I am sure it is still looking at the home collection of Hm this month.
This means I will only apply some new changes to shake things little.. flowers, new fragrance candle etc..
I can't wait to decorated the house with peonies again, you might have known already by old posts that I love peonies so so much.. This big peony was from my dearest friend Lina when she paid me a visit last spring and we had one of our girls chill-out weekends.
Peonies are just the best.. I can't stop looking at them and how beautiful they are. This one below is called : Paeonia officinalis 'Rubra Plena' double-flowered cultivar , and the other one which is also my favorite type is Ant attracted to peony bud nectar.
Personal Style, Photography, Style
Lina`s personal style is unique.. she also prefer comfy outfits that look classic but mixed in uncommon way. Here she well dresses these wide black pants which are on the trend of 2016 with these lovely yellow pumps and a basic black and white top. Very modern and stylish combination indeed. Last year Ive already wrote about 2016 spring / summer trend having wide pants back in style STYLE: Extra Long Wide-Leg Pants.
Lina and I has been taking photographs of each other ( Model / photographer exchange) since we were in the art academy in 2013. This is the first time I share my photoshoots / photography work featuring someone else's style in my blog. I usually share them on my photography site with the rest of food and nature, travel photography etc... Now that my maternity outfits lack style I am going to be sharing outfits of my dearest friend and photography model Lina Strom.
Hello blog buddies! Today I am sharing with you what I have done recently... I baked these cute sugar cookies yesterday to serve during our baby visits.. we are not going to have a baby shower since its not a tradition here in Sweden, but instead it will be small family and friends gatherings every now and then... I thought it would be nice to bake something special for the event.
I wanted to do more things aside to these cookies but unfortunately my energy at the moment barely passes me through the days basic tasks. I might bake something else the coming days, who knows!
So below you can see the preparation method in photos and the recipe at the end. I hope you enjoy it and can make use of this recipe for other occasions as well in a different shape or style.
