A Basic Chia Pudding Recipe

I want to share with you one of my favorite morning treats. Chia pudding and all the creative ways of making it with  different types of fruits and berries. This is a basic recipe that allows you add your own touch and taste to it. The other day I mixed it with beetroot, mango, strawberry, orange and spinach smoothie and it was so so delicious. Even my little princess Julia loved it a lot.

Chia is also one of the superfood that one should remember to add during meal planning. I hope you enjoy this inspiration. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup / 240 ml  milk dairy, coconut, almond...
1 tbsp honey, malt syrup or pure maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
the juice of one lemon
2 tbsp greek yogurt
3 tbsp chia seeds

Optional

1 Cup of your favorite berries or fruit minced in food processor such as:
 Strawberry, raspberry, banana, mango, etc..

Almond or coconut chips for garnish

METHOD

Combine all the ingredients together except chia seeds and process until smooth.
Pour mixture into two jars. Put the lid on and give it a good shake to incorporate chia.
Let it rest for about 1 hour, shake again and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight. Eat by the spoonful when you wake up in the morning

NOTES
It will keep two days in the fridge.
